Mark Lucas, 48, of Rome was arrested this week for failing to register as a sex offender.
According to police, Lucas is a registered sex offender, as a result, Lucas is required by law to notify the Floyd County Sheriff’s of any change of address 72 prior to actually moving.
Lucas left his last known address on January 30, 2018, and has not reported a new address.
Lucas is charged with failure to appear and a felony count of failure to register as a sex offender.
