Felicia Curry, 38, of Rome was arrested this week for attempting to influence a witness.
According to police, Curry calls her son, who is currently incarcerated in Floyd County Jail for a domestic violence charge. During their phone call, they both tell a witness in his case that she needs to sign an affidavit saying that Curry’s son did not do anything. During the said phone call, Curry can be heard cursing and hitting the victim. The victim then tells Curry’s son that Curry hit her. Curry’s son restates that she needs to sign the affidavit.
Curry is charged with a felony count of influencing a witness.
