Jaylyn Smith, 18, of Rome, was arrested this week for breaking into a home and using a firearm as a method of intimidation.
According to police, on September 11, 2018, Smith forced his way into the victim’s residence. Upon entry, Smith used a firearm as a way to intimidate the victim and took a misdemeanor amount of marijuana from the victim.
Smith is charged with felony armed robbery.
