Katie Boyer, 36, of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome Monday for having marijuana and methamphetamine.
Boyer is accused of admitting to having both marijuana and methamphetamine after crossing the guard line.
The offense of crossing the guard line occurs when a person enters a prison or other correctional building with a firearm, drugs, or alcohol.
Boyer is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony crossing state/county guard line with drugs without consent (marijuana), felony crossing state/county guard line with drugs without consent (methamphetamine).
