Thomas Brogden, 59, of Calhoun, was arrested at Redmond Hospital this week for throwing a package of blood at another person.
According to police, Brogden allegedly threw a package of blood and a stack of papers at the victim, thus making her feel as though she was going to be injured.
Brogden also said vulgar and abusive words during the incident.
Brogden is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
