An Ellijay couple, Larry Edwin Brown, 57, and Shannon Lynne Brown, 53, were arrested in Rome this week after they allegedly went to a home on East Drive and attacked a 28 year-old woman.
Report said that the couple refused to leave the property after being asked several times to do so. Shannon then allegedly hit the woman in the face before leaving the scene.
Police later spotted the vehicle both Brown’s left in. While interviewing Larry Brown, the driver, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.
Larry Brown is charged with DUI and Criminal Trespass.
Shannon Brown is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass, cruelty to children and open container.
