A convicted felon, Roy Lee Sutton, 27 of Aragon, was jailed this week after police said they found a handgun in a vehicle in which he was in the passenger seat.
While being taken into custody, police said they found meth in his pants pocket.
Sutton is charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
