Stephen Aron Trotter, 33 of Cave Spring, was jailed this week after police said he injured a 74 year-old woman.
Reports said that Trotter prevented the woman from getting out of her bed in order to call 911.
The incident occurred at a home on Henson Road
Trotter is charged with battery, obstructing a person making an emergency and intimidation of the elderly.
