A passenger in a white passenger car, Martha Lowman, 30 of Rome, has died after a head-on collision Monday on the 2600 block of Old Dalton Road.

Floyd County Police said that the southbound car in which Lowman was a passenger in crossed the center line and struck a black GMC SUV head-on.

Another person in the car was airlifted for treatment.  A third person in the vehicle, as previously reported, fled the scene and was arrested later after being found with meth.

Two individuals were transported to a local hospital and a third was life flighted after a head on collision near the 2600 block of Old Dalton Road just after 5 pm Monday.

A fourth person, Robert Lincoln Keene Jr, 38 of Calhoun, fled from the scene and was captured on Highway 140 a short time later.

Reports said that he was found at a home after asking the resident to use their phone. He was found to be in possession of over 3 grams of methamphetmaine and baggies used to distribute the drugs.  He was also wanted on felony warrants.

Keene is charged with possession of meth, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of drug-related objects.

Authorities have not confirmed the idenities of those involved, but did say that all passengers suffered serious injuries.
