Ann Marie Long, 46 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after police said she hit a 50 year-old woman in the stomach, clawed her ankle and then slammed a door on her.
The victim reportedly suffered visible injury from the attack.
The incident occurred at a home on Floyd Springs Road.
Long is charged with battery.
