Johnny Erick Selman, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after an altercation on Lovers Lane.
Reports stated that Selman pushed a younger woman in front of a 2 year-old child.
Reports added that Selman also grabbed the child by the arm, which caused physical injury.
Police went on to state that Selman also caused damage to a fence on the property.
Selman is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass and 1st degree cruelty to children.
