Jimmy Dewayne Nation, 36 of Lindale, was arrested after police said he kicked the door in to a home on Davis Street and stole keys to a Nissan Xterra.
Reports added that the victim, a 32 year-old woman, had a TPO out against Nation.
Police went on to state that the victim and her children were at home at the time of the burglary.
Nation is charged with first degree burglary, aggravated stalking and criminal trespass.
