Joshua Kenneth Gilmore, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he pushed a 16 year-old girl in a kitchen and proceeded to act violent towards her.
Reports said that the incident occurred in front of a small child.
The altercation occurred at a home on Prater Road.
Gilmore is charged with simple battery, simple assault, and cruelty to children.
