Dustin Ryan Hilyer, 31 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he broke into a vehicle parked at Pizza Hut on Martha Berry Blvd with the intent to commit a theft.
Reports said that Hilyer was in possession of a rock, gloves and a screwdriver when he smashed the passenger side window of the vehicle out.
Hilyer was captured a short time later near CVS.
Hilyer is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony and possession of tools for commission of a crime.
