Timtohy Daniel Payton, 36 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after he allegedly assaulted an elderly Armuchee woman.
Reports said that Payton grabbed the woman by the wrist, which caused visible injury and fear of her life.
Police went on to say that while trying to take Payton into custody he refused to cooperate with three officers. They added that Payton acted violent toward them.
Payton is charged with simple battery, simple assault, obstruction of police and bondsman off bond.
