Antoine Lapip Smith Jr, 21 of Cave Spring, was jailed this week police said he attempted to start a fight with his 46 year-old father.
Reports stated that Smith acted in a violent manner when he grabbed his father in an effort to start an altercation.
Police added that witness saw the altercation and immediately called police.
Smith is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
