Brett Taylor Stephens, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he hit a woman multiple times with his fist before throwing her to the floor.
Reports added that Stephens then allegedly stomped on the victim’s face causing a broken nose and other visible marks.
The incident occurred at a home on Wynnie Road.
Stephens is charged with aggravated battery and probation violation.
