Two men, MacKenzie Cory Bowers,39 of Silver Creek, and 36 year-old Stephen Bradley Chambers, of Rome, were arrested this week after they were allegedly found to be illegally hunting off of Harmony Road in Silver Creek.

Reports said that Department of Natural Resource officers found Bowers, who was not wearing proper hunting attire, and while questioning him took him to Chambers, who was also not wearing proper hunting attire.

It was also determined that neither men had a hunting license and that Chambers, who possessed a gun, was a convicted felon.

Both are charged with hunting big game over bait, failure to wear fluorescent orange, hunting without a license and hunting without a big game license.

Chambers is also charged with possession of a gun by a convicted felon.
