John Clayton Westmoreland, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly made threatening gestures to a 48 year-old woman.
Reports stated that Westmoreland admitted to having drank a 12 pack of beer.
Westmoreland is charged with simple assault and public drunk.
