Alvin Travis Burnette, 44 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after he was allegedly found to be driving a vehicle with a burnt license plate.
Reports stated that after being pulled over police located a bag of suspected marijuana in his vehicle.
Burnette is charged with possession of marijuana and improper display of license plate.
