Gary Wayne Acrey Jr, 45 of Rome, was jailed this week after police found drugs on his possession while conducting a road block.
Reports stated that Acrey told police, while stopped on Huffaker Road, that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Reports added that he then told police that he had “dope”on him.
A search uncovered suspected meth in a baggie.
Acrey is charged with possession of meth, DUI, driving on a suspended license, concealing the identity of a vehicle, driving on an expired tag and parole violation.
