Demarcus Tyrell Ferguson, 34 of Rome, was arrested Friday after he was allegedly found to illegally be in possession of a gun.
A report stated that Ferguson is a convicted felon, and as such was not allowed to possess the firearm.
Ferguson is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
