Aaron Remar Thompson, 24 of Rome, was jailed over the weekend after admitting to attempting to break into numerous vehicles in order to steal items from them.
Reports stated that Thompson was captured after damaging the vehicles and leaving the scene.
Police stated that Thompson had been wanted on theft charges from last December. Reports said that Thompson pawned a leased television valued at $200 to Scant’s Pawn shop for $30.
Thompson is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony, two counts of criminal trespass, theft by deception, theft by conversion and probation violation.
