Two Rome men, Edgar Randolph Gaines Jr, 49, and Jimmy Louis Warren, 38, were arrested at a location on Old Airport Road following a physical altercation,
Reports stated that Warren placed Gaines in reasonable fear of his safety when he approached him in an “aggressive manner” , which caused him to retreat.
Reports continued that Gaines then “raised his hand in an attempt to strike” Warren.
The offense occurred in the presence of two children.
Both are charged with simple assault and two counts cruelty to children.
