Alex Lamar Poole, 25 of Rome, was arrested on Sunday after he was accused of stealing a Ford F250 from a location at Barker Road and Albion Drive.
Reports said that Poole took the vehicle with the “intent to deprive the owner” of the property.
Authorities went on to say that Poole also took a heavy duty safety harness valued at $150.
Poole is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and theft by taking.
