On Sunday, July 2, 2017, at approximately 8:36pm, E911 received a call regarding a shooting incident at the Calhoun Quick Stop on Calhoun Ave. Investigation revealed that one adult male had been shot during a physical altercation that took place between two subjects in front of the store. That person was transported to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries.
The shooter fled the area on foot immediately following the shooting. The shooter has been identified as a juvenile and charges are currently pending against him.
