Emily Louise Fowler, 33 of Rome, was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly broke into a car on Turner Bend Road and stole a handgun.
Reports said that the handgun, a 1911 Rock Island Armory .45 caliber, was recovered from Fowler’s backpack.
Fowler is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony, theft by taking, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, possession and carrying concealed weapon and probation violation.
