Gail M Mendonca, 60 of Rome, was arrested on Sunday after police said she interfered with the custody of a child when she refused to allow a 2 year-old to go with his mother.
Reports said that the incident occurred at a home on Burnett Ferry Road.
Mendonca is charged with interference with custody.
