Jelissa Marshay Swain, of Rome, was arrested after she allegedly wrote numerous  fraudulent checks and attempted to make fraudulent purchases with someone else’s bank card.

Reports said that on May 9th Swain allegedly attempted to make $298.95 worth of purchases at Walgreens on Martha Berry Blvd without the card owner’s permission.

Reports went on to say that on April 25th Swain allegedly wrote four checks to the River City Bank for a total of $680 without the victim’s authorization.

Swain is charged with financial transaction card fraud and fourth degree forgery.
