Adam Macelhannon Grant, 32 of Rome, was arrested after he allegedly dropped marijuana out of his pocket while police investigated a wreck that he was involved with.
Report said that the wreck occurred at Riverside Parkway at Chatillion Drive Thursday afternoon.
Reports added that the drug was contained in a small plastic baggie.
Grant is charged with the purchase, possession or distribution of marijuana.
