Damon Michael Jenkins, 18, and Jeffery Waylon Sligh, 17, both of Spencheville, Ohio,  were arrested in Rome on numerous drug charges after being found passed out at a location on Martha Berry Blvd and Veterans Memorial Highway Wednesday.

Reports said that Sligh was a passenger in a vehicle that had been reported driving erratically.  Reports said that after locating the vehicle they found both suspects very “sluggish” and with slow “speech and motor skills”

A search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana inside a shoe.  Officers said that they also found several marijuana grinders, two smoking devices and a set of scales in the trunk.

Jenkins was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, driving under the influence of drugs and a seat belt violation.

Sligh is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
