Jeffery Wayne Waddell, of Rockmart, was arrested this week after he allegedly stole a homemade utility trailer from a home on Old Wax Road in Rome.
Reports said that he then proceeded to take it to a scrap yard and recycled it back on March 20th.
The value of the trailer was listed at $4,000.
Waddell is charged with theft by taking.
