The Rockmart Municipal Court has set an “Amnesty Day” for June 7th.   The day is set for anyone who is facing misdemeanor charges in the city, such as traffic tickets, shoplifting and more.

Reports said that if you are wanted on a failure to appear charge then you will have from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to appear, and if outstanding charges haven’t been taken care of by the end of the day, bench warrants will be served.

Amnesty should be sought at the Rockmart Police Department office to take care of citations, and can be taken care of before the June 7 deadline.
