Carlos Correa, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly threw a lamp at a 32 year-old woman in front of two children Thursday.  He was also wanted for attacking a woman back on March 9th.

On March 9th he is accused of slashing a female victim’s hand with a machete in an attempt to cut it off.

Reports went on to state that when officers arrived on the scene Correa hid under a couch in order to evade capture.  Once located, police said he refused to obey verbal commands to which they had taze Correa.

Correa is charged with simple assault, three counts of obstruction of law enforcement, aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
