Candace Nechell Pitts, 33 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly lied to 911 about a domestic altercation on Ave C.
Reports added that she gave 911 officers a fake name while on the call.
After investigating it was determined that Pitts made up the allegations because she was “made at the person at the residence”.
Pitts is charged with false statements or writings, false report of a crime and unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
