Matthew Steven McGinnis, 39 of Rome, was arrested on Wednesday after he allegedly attacked a woman at a home on Chateau Drive.
Reports stated that the woman had previously taken out a protective order against McGinnis.
They added that McGinnis “caused bodily harm” to the 36 year-old woman.
McGinnis is charged with battery and aggravated stalking
