Henry David Nails, 47 of Rome, was arrested at the Relax Inn on Martha Berry Blvd Friday after he was accused of hitting a woman in the face.
Reports stated that he hit the 31 year-old woman in the left temple, resulting in facial brusing.
Nails is charged with battery.
