Angela Renee Potts, 49 of Lindale, was arrested after wrecking her car on Maple Road. Police said that while investigating the accident they discovered that she was allegedly driving while on drugs, and with a child in the car.
Reports stated that Potts was driving under the influence of synthetic marijuana, as well as without a valid driver’s license.
Police added that a 9 month-old child was in the car at the time of the crime.
A search of the vehicle uncovered synthetic marijuana.
Potts is charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, driving under the influence, endangering a child by DUI, driving on an expired license, and probation violation.
