Melissa Garner 34 of Adarivsille, was arrested on Thursday after failing to send her two children to school over a period of time.
Reports stated that Garner’s 10 year-old child had numerous unexcused absences while a student at Model Elementary School.
Garner is charged with mandatory education for children under the age of 16.
