Rome Probation Officer Arrested After Having Sexual Relations with Probationers

Anyoel Cordovi, 29 of Dalton, was arrested in Rome, was arrested after a GBI investigation uncovered alleged sexual misconduct between Cordovi, who was a probation officer in Rome, and two people he supervised.

Reports stated that Cordovi had sexual intercourse with a person under his supervision at a home on Big Texas Valley Road between January 1 and 31^st of 2015.

Reports added that Cordovi then engaged in two spate acts of sexual assault with probationers under his supervision when he allegedly sent nude photos to them.  The acts occurred between January 1^st and June 30^, 2015.

Cordovi is charged with violation of oath by a public defender, and two counts of sexual assault by a probation employee against a probationer under his supervision.
