Rome Police have arrested 17 year-old Model High School student Jabrious Timion Smith, of Cartersville, with the armed robbery of John’s Grocery Store on Kingston Avenue Tuesday.

Reports said the store was robbed by three black males, all appearing to be teenagers around 4 pm.

One of the suspects walked into the store and proceeded to point a gun at the clerk before demanding money.

No one was injured in the incident.

Smith is charged with armed robbery.

Smith is listed on both the basketball and football team rosters.

Floyd County authorities are continually searching for three black males that allegedly robbed John’s Grocery Store on Kingston Highway just after 4 pm on Tuesday at gun point.

Reports stated that the suspects were described as teens wearing hoodies and mask over their face.
