Jason Jermaine Staples, 38 of Rome, was arrested at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Blvd Wednesday after he was accused of attacking a 27 year-old homeless woman.
Reports stated that Staples caused “substantial bodily harm” to the victim, which resulted in her face bleeding.
Staples is charged with battery and probation violation.
