Bert Johnson, 29 of Dalton, was arrested at the West Rome Wal-Mart, after allegedly attempting to steal a blue tooth speaker and a mustache trimmer.
Reports stated that Johnson then lied to authorities and signed a fake name to a banned list.
Johnson is charged with theft by shoplifting, giving a false name to police and false statements and writings.
