Lakisha Woodard, 33 of Rome, was arrested at her home on East First Avenue after she allegedly beat a 10 year-old boy as a form of punishment before striking her own mother.
Reports stated that she hit both the child and her mother with a closed fist.
Woodard is charged with cruelty to children and simple battery.
