Derrick McKinnley Brown, 50 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after allegedly attacking a woman while in the shower at a home on Woods Road.
Reports stated that Brown went into the bathroom, slung the shower curtain open as the victim was taking a shower and then placed her in fear of her safety.
Brown is charged with simple assault.
