Jeremiah Ray Harris, 36 of Rome, found himself behind bars over the weekend after he was found hiding from police. Reports stated that Harris was wanted for stealing a leaf blower, valued at $580, from a a business on Alabama Highway back in August.
Reports stated that after Harris stole the blower from Midian Roofing, he took it to Cash America Pawn and sold it.
Reports added that Harris hid is a closet in order to avoid arrest.
Harris is charged with theft by taking and obstruction of law enforcement.
