Alfred Franklin Trapp, 56 of Armuchee, was arrested over the weekend after a traffic stop on Ga 53 at Burlington Road turned up drugs.
Reports stated that Trapp was pulled over for a traffic violation and at some point in the stop officers asked to search the vehicle.
A search turned up a bag of suspected methamphetamine in the bed of the truck.
Trapp was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation.
