Gordon Ray Allmon, 18 of Silver Creek, was transported to the Floyd County Jail from Cherokee County Alabama to face numerous theft charges.

Reports stated that on April 19th Allmon entered a barn on Tim Bing Road and stole five horse saddles valued at $1,000 a piece.  Police stated that Allmon then took the saddles to Dykes Creek Farm Supply and sold four of them for a total of $400.

Less than a week later Allmon allegedly stole a Ford F250 truck from the Kangaroo Express on Shorter Avenue.

Allmon is charged with first degree burglary, theft by taking and theft by deception.
