A homeless Rome man, William Franklin Ferguson, 55, was captured over the weekend after reports stated he beat an elderly man in West Rome back on November 11th.
Reports stated that Ferguson attacked the 68 year-old male victim on West Brookewood Avenue. Reports added that the victim suffered injury to his upper lip that left him without usage, as well as temporarily disfigurement.
Ferguson is charged with felony aggravated battery.
