Tyler Scott Evans, 21 of Rome, was arrested on Tuesday after police said he stole several items of men’s clothing at Citi Trends (valued at $181.91) on Shorter Avenue.
Police said that a search of Evans also uncovered a baggie of suspected methamphetamine and a loaded handgun.
Evans is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by shoplifting, possession of meth and two counts of failure to appear.
Evans is wanted in both Bartow and Chattooga Counties
